Pho­tog­ra­ph­er Noel Nor­ton with the aid of his late wife, Mary Nor­ton has cre­at­ed yet an­oth­er mas­ter­piece in a ca­reer that spans over four decades.

A pic­to­r­i­al dis­play of emo­tions cap­tured in the faces and move­ments of or­di­nary peo­ple of East In­di­an de­cent, cul­mi­nate in the Nor­ton's lat­est con­tri­bu­tion to book­stores across T&T-some­thing they call, Kalyana-The Beau­ty of In­di­an Cul­ture.

A per­fect gift for the Christ­mas sea­son, this pho­to­graph­ic work of ex­cel­lence, which was de­signed and pro­duced by Every­thing Slight Pep­per, fea­tures a col­lec­tion of more than 70 pho­tos dat­ing from 1959 to present with a fore­word by his­to­ri­an, An­ge­lo Bisses­sars­ingh and nar­ra­tive by Mary Nor­ton.

Kalyana-The Beau­ty of In­di­an Cul­ture is the on­ly joint record­ing by the Nor­tons of their im­pres­sions of East In­di­an cul­ture over the years.

Those ad­ven­tur­ous enough to jour­ney with the Nor­ton's are in­vit­ed to trav­el in­to Cen­tral, Trinidad where the sights, emo­tions and phys­i­cal em­bod­i­ments of cul­tur­al ex­pres­sion are pic­to­ri­al­ly cap­tured by Noel Nor­ton, one of T&T's most ac­claimed pho­tog­ra­phers and re­cip­i­ent of the Cha­co­nia Medal Gold for his con­tri­bu­tion to cul­ture in T&T.
