Photographer Noel Norton with the aid of his late wife, Mary Norton has created yet another masterpiece in a career that spans over four decades.
A pictorial display of emotions captured in the faces and movements of ordinary people of East Indian decent, culminate in the Norton's latest contribution to bookstores across T&T-something they call, Kalyana-The Beauty of Indian Culture.
A perfect gift for the Christmas season, this photographic work of excellence, which was designed and produced by Everything Slight Pepper, features a collection of more than 70 photos dating from 1959 to present with a foreword by historian, Angelo Bissessarsingh and narrative by Mary Norton.
Kalyana-The Beauty of Indian Culture is the only joint recording by the Nortons of their impressions of East Indian culture over the years.
Those adventurous enough to journey with the Norton's are invited to travel into Central, Trinidad where the sights, emotions and physical embodiments of cultural expression are pictorially captured by Noel Norton, one of T&T's most acclaimed photographers and recipient of the Chaconia Medal Gold for his contribution to culture in T&T.
