The Composite Index advanced by 0.69 points, or 0.07 per cent, to close at 1,000.97, while the All T&T Index advanced by 0.97 points, by 0.07 per cent, to close at 1,441.49. The Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.05 points, or by 0.07 per cent, to close at 70.08. Trinidad Cement Ltd was the volume leader with 68,117 shares changing hands for a value of $115,798.90, followed by Capital and Credit Financial Group with a volume of 16,500 shares being traded for $5,280.
National Enterprises Ltd contributed 7,481 shares with a value of $101,369.89, while Prestige Holdings Ltd added 4,670 shares valued at $32,691.44. The West Indian Tobacco Company enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.50 to end the day at $61.50. Conversely, Trinidad Cement Ltd suffered the day's sole decline, falling $0.02 to end the day at $1.70. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.11. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.25. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $62.25. The second tier market did not witness any activity. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
