The Com­pos­ite In­dex ad­vanced by 0.69 points, or 0.07 per cent, to close at 1,000.97, while the All T&T In­dex ad­vanced by 0.97 points, by 0.07 per cent, to close at 1,441.49. The Cross List­ed In­dex ad­vanced by 0.05 points, or by 0.07 per cent, to close at 70.08. Trinidad Ce­ment Ltd was the vol­ume leader with 68,117 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $115,798.90, fol­lowed by Cap­i­tal and Cred­it Fi­nan­cial Group with a vol­ume of 16,500 shares be­ing trad­ed for $5,280.

Na­tion­al En­ter­pris­es Ltd con­tributed 7,481 shares with a val­ue of $101,369.89, while Pres­tige Hold­ings Ltd added 4,670 shares val­ued at $32,691.44. The West In­di­an To­bac­co Com­pa­ny en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.50 to end the day at $61.50. Con­verse­ly, Trinidad Ce­ment Ltd suf­fered the day's sole de­cline, falling $0.02 to end the day at $1.70. The mu­tu­al fund mar­ket did not record any ac­tiv­i­ty.
