For­mer fi­nance min­is­ter Karen Tesheira's pas­sion for in­te­ri­or dec­o­rat­ing is stamped all over her son's restau­rant-Bra­vo on the Boule­vard. The up­scale restau­rant, owned by her son Christo­pher, of­fi­cial­ly opened it doors on Fri­day night. Spe­cial­is­ing in Mediter­ranean Greek foods, the restau­rant of­fers a va­ri­ety of meals pre­pared fresh-from start to fin­ish. In­ter­viewed yes­ter­day, Tesheira said the move was long in com­ing.

Boast­ing of her touch in ma­te­ri­al­is­ing her son's dream, the for­mer min­is­ter said: "I did all the in­te­ri­or dec­o­rat­ing, both in­side and out­side. I love dec­o­rat­ing so I got the op­por­tu­ni­ty to do some­thing that I loved in help­ing my son's dream come true. The restau­rant de­picts ex­act­ly who my son is. He al­ways want­ed to own his own busi­ness and we seized the op­por­tu­ni­ty once it pre­sent­ed it­self. It is a great at­mos­phere where you can re­lax and en­joy palat­able fresh food at af­ford­able prices. Every­body is wel­come; this is not about pol­i­tics but about hav­ing a good time."
