A 43-year-old Princes Town labourer and two Penal men held following a robbery in Debe last Thursday are expected to be placed on identification parades today. They have been detained in connection with a robbery at a mini mart at Boodoo Trace. The female proprietor and a female customer were allegedly assaulted. One of the men was held near the scene, while two other suspects were spotted in a lagoon by members of the Air Guard Unit.

A 30-year-old suspect was held with a .6mm pistol and several rounds of ammunition, while a 34 year-old man of no fixed abode was caught with a cell phone believed to belong to one of the victims. The robbery occurred at around 8 pm on Thursday, while the 45 year-old mini mart proprietor was attending to a customer. Three men armed with a cutlass and a knife entered the premises and dealt the woman several blows to the head before robbing her of an undisclosed sum of money and $500 worth of phone cards. The customer was relieved of a cell phone.
