Gasparillo police are searching for thieves who broke into the home of a 40-year-old engineer and stole $12,950 in valuables, including a quantity of liquor. According to police reports, at around 6.50 am on Wednesday, Headley Roberts, of Alladin Trace, Bonne Aventure, Gasparillo, secured his house and went away. He returned at around 5 pm and discovered his home had been broken into and several items were missing. Among the stolen items are an LCD 32 inch television, a Dell laptop, a quantity of jewelry, a Sony digital camera and a quantity of alcoholic beverages. In another incident, thieves broke into the home of a 44-year-old man of Cooper Street, San Fernando, and stole $2,700 in cash and a quantity of jewelry together valued at $7,000. The man told police he secured his home at around 9.35 am on Wednesday and went away. When he returned at around 12.40 pm he discovered that his house had been broken into and his valuables missing.
