Relatives of slain fishermen Kassinath and Ravi Ramsaran are prepared to protest now that the petition by Jack Warner to support the hanging is no more. Kathleen Boris, 24, the wife of Ravi, said family members were upset when they learned that the petition titled a Fisherman’s Cry was pulled back two days after it was launched. Boris said she felt that her family and the families of murder victims were being short-changed.

Boris said had it been the relatives of prominent politicians justice would have been served.“Kamla could have taken a helicopter and come to the funeral. She could have taken a car. But we are poor people so nobody cares.” Boris said.
Rupandai Ramsaran, mother of the murder victims also said she was disappointed.
