Autopsy inconclusive...

“How did my son die? Was it murder or a freak accident?” These are the questions Marcia Williams desperately wants answered as she tries to come to terms with the death of her 20-year-old son, Dillon Sinanan. Sinanan was found buried in a trench, at Tarodale Gardens on Wednesday evening. Williams said she had been unable to eat and sleep since the death of her first-born. “I keep asking myself how my child died...I want answers,” she said.

An autopsy conducted on Sinanan’s body on Thursday was inconclusive and police said they could not determine whether his death was accidental or the result of foul play. Investigators said toxicology tests would be done to determine how Sinanan died. Williams said her son was a happy person who was always willing to learn something new. “My son usually took night jobs and this construction job was the first he took on during daylight,” she said.

Williams said she is concerned about the conflicting stories she had heard about how her son died. “We still do not know how he died and how he end up being covered under a pile of mud,” she said. Sinanan, of Tarodale, Ste Madeleine, was found dead around 1.30 pm, at Hellshire Avenue, Tarodale, San Fernando, opposite the home of his father. Police said Sinanan was last seen walking near the trench and sometime after, he could not be located. Firefighters and police dug Sinanan’s body out of the trench and it was viewed by District Medical Officer Dr Tricia Lee who ordered it removed to the Forensic Science Centre. San Fernando Homicide officers are continuing investigations.
