The preliminary inquiry into murder charges against seven Southern Division police officers was adjourned yesterday because documents relevant to the case were not available. The accused are Cpl Khemraj Sahadeo, Constable Renaldo Reviero, Glenn Singh, Roger Nicholas, Safraz Juman, Antonio Ramadin and WPC Nicole Clement. They are charged with the murders of Abigail Johnson, Alana Duncan and Kerron "Fingers" Eccles, who were shot dead on Rochard Douglas Road, Barrackpore, in July last year.
When the matter was called yesterday before Princes Town Senior Magistrate Debra Quintyne Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Roger Gaspard told the court the State had not yet to received forensic reports. As a result, the matter was adjourned to March 8. Gaspard said there were still some outstanding issues in relation to disclosure.
