Ashley Arjoon, four, who was injured in a car crash on Carnival Monday, has been discharged from hospital.
The girl, of St Mary's Village, Moruga, spent two days on Ward 5 of the San Fernando General Hospital, and was discharged on Ash Wednesday. Arjoon, who was injured in a vehicular accident along the Moruga Main Road on Carnival Monday, was in the left passenger seat of a car driven by 75-year-old Shem Hamilton, which was proceeding north around 3.30 pm.
Police said the driver of another vehicle, security officer Darius Johnson, attempted to overtake Hamilton and pull into a yard on the western side of the road.
