Works and Infrastructure Minister Jack Warner was mobbed at lunch time Wednesday by students of Holy Faith Convent, Couva. Warner responded to a request to visit from the school's acting principal, Sister Theresa Vialva. During a brief tour, Sr Vialva pointed out problems which the school was experiencing-drainage and infrastructural. Accompanying Warner were Member of Parliament for Couva North, Ramona Ramdial, Dave Persad, Chairman of the Couva/ Tabaquite/ Talparo Regional Corporation, and Councillors of the Corporation.
Warner promised to do all within his portfolio to address the problems. While the minister was touring, lunch break was called for the more than 600 students. Most of them screamed when they saw him walking across the compound. Warner went across and met with the students before meeting with staff members.
