The Composite Index advanced by 0.24 points, or by 0.02 per cent, to close at 1,007.80, while the All T&T Index advanced by 0.37 points, or 0.02 per cent to close at 1,483.42. The Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.01 points, or 0.01 per cent, to close at 67.07.
National Flour Mills was the volume leader with 30,000 shares changing hands for a value of $21,000.00, followed by Trinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 22,000 shares being traded for $40,480.00. Scotia Investments Jamaica Ltd contributed 8,061 shares with a value of $18,134.57, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 4,059 shares valued at $30,965.06.
Trinidad Cement Ltd enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.04 to end the day at $1.84. Conversely, Republic Bank Ltd suffered the day's sole decline, falling $0.01 to end the day at $94.99. The mutual fund and second tier markets did not record any activity.
