The most pop­u­lar night club in San­gre Grande, the on­ly club on the is­land with a pool in the VIP area, was in cel­e­bra­tion mode on March 10. Own­er and man­ag­er, Darin Ali, cel­e­brat­ed his birth­day in fine style on the night. And al­though the rain fell in­ter­mit­tent­ly, it failed to put a damper on the fun. The club is known for its con­sis­tent show­cas­ing of lo­cal and re­gion­al live en­ter­tain­ment, and that night was no dif­fer­ent. The live per­for­mances be­gan with Whit­ney Cum­mings, aka Lo­cal Whit­ney Hous­ton, and cli­maxed with lo­cal reg­gae su­per­star, Mar­lon Ash­er. He sang eight songs and end­ed the show just be­fore 5 am.
