A 35-year-old labourer has been left homeless after his two-bedroom house was completely destroyed by fire yesterday morning. Michael Farell, of 35 Moonan Avenue, Princes Town, was too late in returning to save his home. Reports indicated that Farell left his home around 10 pm on Friday to visit family members and while there, he received a phone call where he was told his house was on fire. When he got home his wooden house valued at $25,000 had already been destroyed.
Fire Fighters from the Princes Town Fire Station responded. The cause of the fire in still unknown. PC Sookdeo of the Princes Town Police Station is investigating.
