A 35-year-old labour­er has been left home­less af­ter his two-bed­room house was com­plete­ly de­stroyed by fire yes­ter­day morn­ing. Michael Farell, of 35 Moo­nan Av­enue, Princes Town, was too late in re­turn­ing to save his home. Re­ports in­di­cat­ed that Farell left his home around 10 pm on Fri­day to vis­it fam­i­ly mem­bers and while there, he re­ceived a phone call where he was told his house was on fire. When he got home his wood­en house val­ued at $25,000 had al­ready been de­stroyed.

Fire Fight­ers from the Princes Town Fire Sta­tion re­spond­ed. The cause of the fire in still un­known. PC Sookdeo of the Princes Town Po­lice Sta­tion is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
