The NGO Is There Not a Cause (ITNAC) will take its col­lec­tion dri­ve and con­cert Son­je (Hait­ian cre­ole for "Re­mem­ber") to the Har­ris Prom­e­nade, San Fer­nan­do on May 3. The or­gan­i­sa­tion is ask­ing mem­bers of the pub­lic to bring do­na­tions of food or mon­ey to sup­port the poor in Haiti and Trinidad and To­ba­go. ITNAC has been in ex­is­tence for the past ten years and has as­sist­ed un­der­priv­i­leged fam­i­lies in Haiti, Ja­maica, In­dia, Kenya and parts of T&T. The col­lec­tion dri­ve starts at noon and con­tin­ues un­til 7 pm. The live con­cert, fea­tur­ing a Hait­ian band and lo­cal gospel singers, starts at 4 pm.
