There are three mat­ters be­fore Par­lia­ment's Priv­i­leges Com­mit­tee, ac­cord­ing to Par­lia­ment's com­mu­ni­ca­tions di­vi­sion. Com­mu­ni­ca­tions of­fi­cials from the di­vi­sion said those who are be­fore the com­mit­tee in­clude PNM sen­a­tors Faris Al-Rawi and Fitzger­ald Hinds. They were re­cent­ly re­ferred to the com­mit­tee.

An­oth­er mat­ter be­fore the com­mit­tee is al­leged to have oc­curred dur­ing the re­cent no-con­fi­dence de­bate, con­cern­ing PNM MP Don­na Cox and in­volv­ing a stranger to the House, of­fi­cials said. They said the timetable for deal­ing with these mat­ters is with­in the cur­rent par­lia­men­tary ses­sion. The ses­sion ends in June. If the mat­ters are not con­clud­ed they will lapse, the com­mu­ni­ca­tions di­vi­sion al­so said.
