COP MP Anil Roberts says he is confused about the COP’s new move to disagree with laws brought to Parliament, since COP leader Prakash Ramadhar heads the Legislative Review Committee. Roberts commented yesterday morning on the COP’s latest position in the disagreement between member parties of the People’s  Partnership.

He said: “The chairman of the legislative review committee is my leader. No law is brought to Parliament without the committee’s approval. “So what my leader is saying is he will approve legislation in that committee and if the leader of House business brings the legislation, COP MPs must vote against it?  I’d like him to explain to me and the public how he rationalises that.” Roberts spoke en route to yesterday’s Cabinet meeting on PP issues.
