Mem­bers of the Move­ment for So­cial Jus­tice (MSJ), one of the units with­in the Peo­ple's Part­ner­ship Gov­ern­ment, will not be par­tic­i­pat­ing in the sched­uled sec­ond-an­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tions of the coali­tion in To­ba­go this week­end. This is ac­cord­ing to a state­ment is­sued by the MSJ yes­ter­day.

The MSJ did not par­tic­i­pate in the May 24 sec­ond an­niver­sary ral­ly in Ch­agua­nas be­cause it said it would be in­ap­pro­pri­ate to cel­e­brate the an­niver­sary while there were many crit­i­cal is­sues af­fect­ing the na­tion. The MSJ said its de­ci­sion al­so to stay away from the To­ba­go cel­e­bra­tions on Sat­ur­day was for the same rea­son.

At Sat­ur­day's ral­ly in Scar­bor­ough, the To­ba­go Or­gan­i­sa­tion of the Peo­ple, an­oth­er unit of the PP Gov­ern­ment, is ex­pect­ed to launch its 2013 To­ba­go House of As­sem­bly elec­tion cam­paign.
