Resh­ma Ra­goonath

Cen­tral Trinidad res­i­dent Clarence David Ma­coon, 34, was killed in­stant­ly on Sat­ur­day evening while at­tempt­ing to cross the Sir Solomon Ho­choy High­way, near the Preysal over­pass. Po­lice re­ports state that around 6.45 pm, Ma­coon of Lendore Vil­lage, Mon­trose, Ch­agua­nas, and an uniden­ti­fied man were at­tempt­ing to cross the high­way when tragedy struck.

The men re­port­ed­ly crossed the north-bound lane of the high­way and were cross­ing the south-bound lane when Ma­coon was hit. How­ev­er, the sec­ond man made it safe­ly across. In­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing.
