Stu­dents of Ma­yaro-Guayagua­yare Com­mu­ni­ty School are to trav­el to the Unit­ed States lat­er this month for an ed­u­ca­tion­al tour. It is an ini­tia­tive be­ing un­der­tak­en by Jeg­na In­sti­tute, a Ma­yaro-based non-prof­it or­gan­i­sa­tion led by Ako Mu­to­ta. In a re­lease, Mu­to­ta said the trip will "at­tempt to plant in the minds and psy­che of our chil­dren from the SEA class of 2012, a dif­fer­ent vi­sion of them­selves and a fu­ture." It be­gins on June 17 and ends on June 29. The 12-mem­ber group will vis­it the Uni­ver­si­ty of Mi­a­mi, NASA's Mar­shall Space Flight Cen­ter in Huntsville, the Birm­ing­ham Civ­il Rights In­sti­tute, among oth­er places.
