Water interruption in Diego tomorrow

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in Diego Martin of an interruption in their water supply tomorrow between 7 am and 6 pm. The authority, in a statement yesterday, said the interruption in service was necessary in order to facilitate repair work to two broken transmission mains located north of Crystal Stream on the Diego Martin Highway and at the corner of Mercer Road and Diego Martin Main Roads.
Areas to be affected include:
• Morne Coco Road from Alyce Glen to Sierra Leone, including all associated streets
• Diego Martin Main Road from Crystal Stream to Rich Plain, including all associated streets
The authority has appealed to drivers to proceed with caution and observe the instructions from police on duty when approaching the job site, as there will be disruption in traffic. The authority has also apologised for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
