The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty (WASA) is ad­vis­ing cus­tomers in Diego Mar­tin of an in­ter­rup­tion in their wa­ter sup­ply to­mor­row be­tween 7 am and 6 pm. The au­thor­i­ty, in a state­ment yes­ter­day, said the in­ter­rup­tion in ser­vice was nec­es­sary in or­der to fa­cil­i­tate re­pair work to two bro­ken trans­mis­sion mains lo­cat­ed north of Crys­tal Stream on the Diego Mar­tin High­way and at the cor­ner of Mer­cer Road and Diego Mar­tin Main Roads.

Ar­eas to be af­fect­ed in­clude:

• Morne Co­co Road from Alyce Glen to Sier­ra Leone, in­clud­ing all as­so­ci­at­ed streets

• Diego Mar­tin Main Road from Crys­tal Stream to Rich Plain, in­clud­ing all as­so­ci­at­ed streets

The au­thor­i­ty has ap­pealed to dri­vers to pro­ceed with cau­tion and ob­serve the in­struc­tions from po­lice on du­ty when ap­proach­ing the job site, as there will be dis­rup­tion in traf­fic. The au­thor­i­ty has al­so apol­o­gised for the in­con­ve­nience and thanks cus­tomers for their pa­tience and un­der­stand­ing.
