Dr Hol­lis R Lynch, To­bag­on­ian and own­er of the Rich­mond Great House, Belle Gar­den, To­ba­go and Prof Emer­i­tus of His­to­ry, Co­lum­bia Uni­ver­si­ty, New York has pub­lished a book-K O Mbadi­we: A Niger­ian Po­lit­i­cal Bi­og­ra­phy, 1915-1990. The book is pub­lished by Pal­grave Macmil­lan.

An Amer­i­can ed­u­cat­ed Ig­bo with de­grees from Co­lum­bia and New York uni­ver­si­ties, Mbadi­we be­came, from 1948, a cen­tral fig­ure as na­tion­al­ist, politi­cian, leg­is­la­tor and states­man in Nige­ria. Mbadi­we was per­haps Nige­ria's great­est boost­er; cer­tain­ly he worked as­sid­u­ous­ly, though not al­ways suc­cess­ful­ly to set Africa's most pop­u­lous na­tion on the path to great­ness.

Lynch's book has been praised by one re­view­er Dr Moses E Ochonu.
