Na­tion­al Parang Queen 1987, Leno­ra Fras­er of La Fa­mil­ia De Mu­si­ca Parang group, died on Thurs­day night af­ter surgery at the Port-of-Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal. Pub­lic Re­la­tions Of­fi­cer of the band Mal­co Fras­er said the for­mer parang queen was tak­en to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex two weeks ago but was lat­er trans­ferred to the Port-of-Spain Hos­pi­tal as her bed was re­quired for an­oth­er pa­tient. Fras­er, 62, lived at Tabaquite.
