First Citizens' Bank (FCB) has rewarded top Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) student Rebecca Ann Jattan. For her achievement in placing first in the exam, bank manager Vernia Shield yesterday presented Jattan with a Neo Account bank card and a voucher worth $1,000 at their San Fernando branch. Shield said the account was geared specifically to children 12 and over, and taught them financial responsibility from a young age.
Jattan said she was overwhelmed by the experience and response to her achievement since the SEA results were announced. "I am really happy. This is really an amazing and phenomenal experience. I am proud to have achieved something so great. I am so grateful to everyone who has helped me on this journey-my parents, teachers and God," she added. Jattan, a former student of Canaan Presbyterian School, La Romaine, will be attending her first choice, Naparima Girls' High School, in September.
