An employee of First Citizens, Independence Square, Port-of-Spain pleaded not guilty to two counts of fraud when she appeared in court yesterday. Kimoy Chung-Sing Christian appeared before magistrate Marcia Murray in the Port-of-Spain First Court. She was represented by attorney Thomas Cunningham.
Christian is charged with attempting to defraud the bank of $300,000 via a loan cheque by presenting documents in the name of Cordell Villafana on March 19. She is also accused with attempting to defraud the bank of $198,000 on March 29 via a loan cheque by presenting documents in the name of Raynelle Dyer. The matter will be called again on September 26.
