Opposition Leader Dr Keith Rowley is expected to speak out about the need for parliamentarians to work full-time and be paid increased salaries as they seek to provide oversight for the national budget. He will do so during tonight’s public meeting of the People’s National Movement (PNM), entitled “Defence of our Democracy”, at the promenade in the Croisee, San Juan, this evening. Other speakers include Opposition MP Colm Imbert and chairman of the San Juan/Laventille Regional Corporation, Alderman Nafeesa Mohammed. The meeting begins at 7.30 pm.
