Public Services Association's (PSA) general secretary Nixon Callender has reappeared before a Port-of-Spain magistrate charged with two new assault offences. This brings to five the number of assault charges brought against Callender. Appearing before magistrate Cheron Raphael in the Port-of-Spain Third Court yesterday, Callender pleaded not guilty to charges that he assaulted by beating PSA members Rosanna Robinson and Ricky Cedeno.
This is the second charge brought against Callender in relation to Cedeno. Raphael adjourned Callender's newest matter to September 3.
