Pub­lic Ser­vices As­so­ci­a­tion's (PSA) gen­er­al sec­re­tary Nixon Cal­len­der has reap­peared be­fore a Port-of-Spain mag­is­trate charged with two new as­sault of­fences. This brings to five the num­ber of as­sault charges brought against Cal­len­der. Ap­pear­ing be­fore mag­is­trate Cheron Raphael in the Port-of-Spain Third Court yes­ter­day, Cal­len­der plead­ed not guilty to charges that he as­sault­ed by beat­ing PSA mem­bers Rosan­na Robin­son and Ricky Ce­de­no.

This is the sec­ond charge brought against Cal­len­der in re­la­tion to Ce­de­no. Raphael ad­journed Cal­len­der's newest mat­ter to Sep­tem­ber 3.
