The Na­tion­al Car­ni­val Bands As­so­ci­a­tion (NC­BA) has elect­ed David Lopez as the or­gan­i­sa­tion's new pres­i­dent for the next three years. A new ex­ec­u­tive was elect­ed on Ju­ly 17 at the parish hall of Ch­agua­nas RC Church. In a state­ment, Lopez ex­pressed grat­i­tude to the mem­ber­ship who at­tend­ed the AGM and gave their unan­i­mous sup­port in the 2012 elec­tions.

Lopez as­sured that the shared vi­sion will con­tin­ue as the NC­BA looked for­ward to work­ing to­geth­er for the next three years to achieve all of the as­so­ci­a­tion's ob­jec­tives in a pro­fes­sion­al man­ner.
