Two em­ploy­ees of a Mara­bel­la sales out­let are ex­pect­ed to ap­pear be­fore a San Fer­nan­do Mag­is­trate to­day charged with steal­ing a quan­ti­ty of cop­per on Fri­day. The sus­pects were caught red-hand­ed by po­lice of­fi­cers, at­tempt­ing to make off with the cop­per.

Think­ing they were suc­cess­ful in rob­bing a Mara­bel­la busi­ness place, the sus­pects, a 26-year-old dri­ver of Na­pari­ma/Ma­yaro Road, Palmyra Vil­lage, and a 23-year-old at­ten­dant of San Fa­bi­en Road, Gas­par­il­lo, were held by Ag Cor­po­ral Bas­sarath and PC Moses of the Mara­bel­la Po­lice Sta­tion.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, 39-year-old busi­ness­man, Navin Singh was at his Gopaul Lands home in Mara­bel­la, when around 11.30 am, he re­ceived in­for­ma­tion that two of his em­ploy­ees had loaded a quan­ti­ty of cop­per wire on­to a com­pa­ny truck, with­out per­mis­sion. As a re­sult, Singh, im­me­di­ate­ly con­tact­ed the po­lice and they went in pur­suit of the ve­hi­cle. The sus­pects were in­ter­cept­ed along the South­ern Main Road. Up­on check­ing, they found $4,000 worth of the prod­uct in the tray of the truck.
