Doctors were running tests yesterday on former president Arthur NR?Robinson, who was hospitalised on Monday, according to Robinson's secretary Clair Raphael. Raphael said yesterday Robinson was taken to the St Clair Medical Centre on Monday after complaining of feeling unwell. He was subsequently stabilised. Raphael said he was in a private room and she had spoken to him on Tuesday. She said Robinson was in good spirits.
"There is no word just yet on his condition,"?she said. She could not say how long Robinson would be warded. Communication Minister Jamal Mohammed said Government was also monitoring Robinson's condition. Robinson, 85, has suffered bouts of ill health over the last decade, including heart and prostate issues. His wife Patricia died in 2009 after longstanding illnesses.
