The Op­po­si­tion PNM will ush­er in the dawn of T&T's 50th an­niver­sary of In­de­pen­dence with an all-night cel­e­bra­tion start­ing on the night of Au­gust 30 at the PNM's Bal­isi­er House head­quar­ters, PNM?leader Kei­th Row­ley said. He an­nounced that dur­ing Tues­day's PNM pub­lic meet­ing at Ari­ma where he said Gov­ern­ment was not cel­e­brat­ing T&T's 50th an­niver­sary of In­de­pen­dence prop­er­ly and had ig­nored the the 100th birth year of late first prime min­is­ter Dr Er­ic Williams.

He al­so said he had re­ceived the re­port of the team which had re­viewed the PNM's con­sti­tu­tion and that would be dis­cussed at this month's gen­er­al coun­cil meet­ing where any changes to be made might be done. It will be rat­i­fied at PNM's con­ven­tion at the end of Oc­to­ber, he added.
