The Opposition PNM will usher in the dawn of T&T's 50th anniversary of Independence with an all-night celebration starting on the night of August 30 at the PNM's Balisier House headquarters, PNM?leader Keith Rowley said. He announced that during Tuesday's PNM public meeting at Arima where he said Government was not celebrating T&T's 50th anniversary of Independence properly and had ignored the the 100th birth year of late first prime minister Dr Eric Williams.
He also said he had received the report of the team which had reviewed the PNM's constitution and that would be discussed at this month's general council meeting where any changes to be made might be done. It will be ratified at PNM's convention at the end of October, he added.
