Patrons visiting the TDC’s Tourism Park 2012 look at a lifesaving display
The Tourism Development Company’s (TDC) Tourism Park 2012, Mission: Xpedition ends tomorrow at the Centre of Excellence in Macoya, after ten days of exciting displays, entertainment and giveaways. The venue, which was transformed into a nature trail, highlighting the country’s various eco and tourist sites, was well received by the many visitors to the event, the Ministry of Tourism said in a news release yesterday.
Tourism Park, which was developed in 2004, has evolved over the years to include local tours and attractions. This 50th independence anniversary year, the TDC has gone back to the event’s roots in order to showcase more stakeholders and provide more entertainment for the entire family. The entrance fee for adults is $15 and for children $5.
