Trinidadian Tachkoo Hargobin, 52, brother of pundit Chaitram Hargobin, has died after being hit by a bus in New York.  According to Chaitram, his brother moved to the US approximately 18 years ago where he worked for Hephaitos Building Supply. Chaitram said his brother was “humble, down-to-earth” and generous.” He also said he went to the US seeking a better life. Funeral arrangements are still being made but Chaitram said his brother wanted to be buried in T&T. Hargobin was one of eight siblings, all born and raised in Congo Village, Debe. The New York Daily News reported yesterday that Hargobin was hit while loading a company truck in Queens, New York. Reports said he died on the spot. Hargobin leaves behind his wife, two children and one grandchild.
