Po­lice have iden­ti­fied a sus­pect and are car­ry­ing out in­ves­ti­ga­tion in­to the stab­bing death of a San Fer­nan­do man. An­del Seales, a 26-year-old ma­son of In­de­pen­dence Av­enue, was killed while walk­ing home ear­ly Sun­day morn­ing. Po­lice re­ports said at ap­prox­i­mate­ly 12.30 on Sun­day morn­ing, Seales was walk­ing on Sut­ton Street with a friend when he was ap­proached by the sus­pect. The sus­pect, who Seales is be­lieved to have known, en­gaged him in an ar­gu­ment about a pre­vi­ous al­ter­ca­tion. Dur­ing the ar­gu­ment the sus­pect drew a knife and stabbed Seales in the chest, po­lice said. Ac­cord­ing to the po­lice, Seales died at the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal at 1.20 am on Sun­day. An au­top­sy is ex­pect­ed to be car­ried out to­day.
