The pub­lic has been put on no­tice that in­fra­struc­tur­al work has start­ed on the Min­istry of Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty's sur­veil­lance bays along the Uri­ah But­ler and Sir Solomon Ho­choy High­ways and will con­tin­ue un­til to­mor­row. The work be­ing un­der­tak­en by TSTT start­ed yes­ter­day. TSTT in a me­dia re­lease yes­ter­day, said the work is be­ing car­ried out along the north bound lane from Sur­veil­lance Bay 3, north of War­ren Road, op­po­site T&T Events Man­age­ment Ltd on the Uri­ah But­ler High­way.

The work will con­tin­ue up to Sur­veil­lance Bay 1, south of the Ca­roni Bird Sanc­tu­ary Over­pass. Dri­vers are urged to ex­er­cies cau­tion as work is sched­uled for be­tween 7 pm and 4 am. TSTT ad­vis­es that traf­fic of­fi­cers will be on du­ty while the work is in progress and al­so as­sures that mea­sures have been put in place to min­imise dis­rup­tion to the trav­el­ling pub­lic.
