Ker­win Birch­wood, 25, of Pow­der Mag­a­zine, Diego Mar­tin, was walk­ing near his home around 10.30 pm on Fri­day when res­i­dents heard gun­shots. Po­lice found him ly­ing on the road with gun­shot wounds to his head. He died on the scene. Birch­wood was well known to the po­lice as a pet­ty crim­i­nal.
