Police are continuing investigations into an incident in which an Arima man was shot during an argument with two men outside his home on Saturday night. Kevin George, 37, of Mottley Trace, Pinto Road, was in stable condition at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC), Mt Hope, up to late yesterday.
The shooting incident occurred at around 11.30 pm on Saturday. George, a CD vendor, was sitting at the side of the road outside his home talking with another man when they were approached by two men. The suspects began arguing with George and one of them pulled out a gun and fired several shots at George, hitting him in the legs and upper body. A neighbour took George to the Arima Health Facility where he was treated then transferred to the EWMSC.
PC Siewlal of the Arima CID is heading that investigation. Also in the Pinto area, police continued to search for Sheldon Paul, 36, who was reported missing by his 58-year-old mother.
