The 2012-2013 bud­get will be pre­sent­ed in Par­lia­ment on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 1, Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar said in a brief an­nounce­ment dur­ing yes­ter­day's House of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives sit­ting. The de­liv­ery of the bud­get will be Fi­nance Min­is­ter Lar­ry Howai's maid­en pre­sen­ta­tion af­ter his ap­point­ment in June. He has warned of aus­ter­i­ty mea­sures and a con­tin­u­ing deficit bud­get.
