Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty Min­is­ter Jack Warn­er has said that Ish Gal­barans­ingh has not been proven guilty.?He in­sist­ed a man is in­no­cent un­til proven guilty. He was re­spond­ing yes­ter­day to ques­tions on the Gov­ern­ment's deal­ings with peo­ple who are be­fore the courts. Warn­er was speak­ing af­ter the launch of the Fe­lic­i­ty Po­lice Youth Club (PYC) yes­ter­day at the Fe­lic­i­ty Sanatan Dhar­ma Ma­ha Sab­ha ( SDMS) Hin­du School.

He told the gath­er­ing the time has come to pass a law to tell peo­ple to wear pants on their waist. Warn­er said so­ci­ety has de­te­ri­o­rat­ed to the point where youths are sell­ing drugs, guns and some have even be­come grand­par­ents. He said the time has come to stop sit­ting on the side­lines and take back com­mu­ni­ties from the neg­a­tive el­e­ments.

Warn­er praised teach­ers in the SDMS school sys­tem for their dis­ci­pline and com­mit­ment to ed­u­ca­tion. He said the SDMS schools have dis­played a lev­el of dis­ci­pline that re­flects in the school's aca­d­e­m­ic per­for­mance over the years. He said the 256-mem­ber Fe­lic­i­ty club was the largest in the coun­try even though it on­ly got start­ed six months ago. Warn­er al­so promised to as­sist the club to ac­quire prop­er­ty for its head­quar­ters. Warn­er said good news such as the ef­forts of PYCs are not be­ing pub­li­cised in the me­dia, who he said rather fo­cus on the neg­a­tives in so­ci­ety.
