Robbery at CDA’s vice chairman’s home (with CNC3 video)
Joseph Ross and Rocky Garcia robbed in separate incidents
An investigation has been launched into a robbery on Tuesday night at the home of Chaguaramas Development Authority (CDA) vice-chairman Rocky Garcia. According to police, around 8.30 pm, Garcia’s wife and daughter returned to their Glencoe home where they were greeted by a knife-wielding burglar.
Investigators believe the man jumped Garcia’s wall and entered the house through an open window. He reportedly restrained the women before ransacking the house in search of cash and jewelery. After taking the family’s cellphones and valuables he ran away. Police said the women were unable to alert their neighbours and were only freed when Garcia returned home later that night.
