Several government grants may be delivered late

Recipients of several Governement grants may get this month's payment late, the Ministry of the People and Social Development has said

.

Cheques for the November 2012 senior citizens’ pension, disability assistance grant and public assistance grant "may be delivered late", according to a statement issued on the Government news website.

 

The statement assured, however, that the Ministry is working "to ensure that cheques are delivered as soon as possible".

 

It added that the Ministry is "prepared to offer assistance to any client who is in immediate need".
