Viren Annamunthodo, 57, was stabbed eight times in the chest and bled to death after he was attacked by an unknown assailant. However, forensic pathologist Dr Valery Alexandrov said yesterday that his death resulted from a single stab to the chest which punctured Annamunthodo's heart.
Alexandrov said the father of three bled to death as he awaited medical assistance. "He sustained eight stab wounds, all of them inflicted with ice pick. The irony is that only one to the chest was fatal," Alexandrov said. On Thursday, the businessman was murdered outside his Unique Service Printery at Cassia Avenue, Pleasantville.
