Arima burglars caught red-handed

Three burglars were caught red-handed Wednesday robbing a house in Arima. According to reports, shortly after 1 am on Wednesday, Arima police responded to a report that a home at Farfan Street was being burgled by three masked men. When they arrived, they confronted the trio, who were carrying items from the house to a waiting vehicle.  

 

The men, who are between the ages of 20 and 24 and from Maloney Gardens, Arouca, surrendered and were detained at the Arima station. The thieves are well known to police, are are expected to participate in several identification parades.
