An officer from the San Juan Municipal Police sustained injuries and was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Science Complex, Mt Hope, after a steel pole on a truck belonging to T&TEC pierced the front windscreen of the police vehicle he was driving.
The accident happened on the westbound lane of the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway (next to the entrance to Grand Bazaar), Valsayn, yesterday.
