The sign says it all for this pri­ma­ry school pupil, one of hun­dreds who braved over­cast con­di­tions to take part in the Ca­roni Re­gion­al Ed­u­ca­tion Di­vi­sion's an­nu­al walkathon to high­light pos­i­tive val­ues. The pupils com­menced their walk from the di­vi­sion's Cam­den Road, Cou­va, of­fices and pro­ceed­ed west along the South­ern Main Road, Cou­va. A down­pour mo­men­tar­i­ly stopped the event as they had to shel­ter at the near­by Ex­change Pri­ma­ry School.

Af­ter the rain the march con­tin­ued to Grant Street and then head­ed east back to the start­ing point. The young­sters were praised by School Su­per­vi­sor II Ol­son Oliv­er for their com­mit­ment to the Red Cross.
