A Laven­tille labour­er be­came the coun­try's 34th mur­der vic­tim yes­ter­day.Po­lice said around 4.50 pm, Au­gus­tine Daniel, 25, of Readymix Pri­vate Road, Laven­tille, was on a job site near his home work­ing for a neigh­bour when two men ap­proached him.The two men had a short con­ver­sa­tion with Daniel, but then drew guns and shot him sev­er­al times. Oth­er work­ers took him to the Port-of-Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal but he died short­ly af­ter.

Po­lice said the in­ci­dent was gang-re­lat­ed.
