Vil­lagers of Chick­land, Ca­paro, yes­ter­day joined po­lice in a mas­sive search for an 81-year-old granny who went miss­ing af­ter walk­ing out of her house to dump garbage.Wip­ing away tears, the friends and fam­i­ly of Rosie Ra­moutar, of Chick­land, trekked through bush­es up to late yes­ter­day in a des­per­ate at­tempt to find her. Ra­moutar was ac­tive­ly in­volved in church and com­mu­ni­ty ac­tiv­i­ties but be­gan suf­fer­ing from Alzheimer's, ac­cord­ing to a fam­i­ly source.

A team of of­fi­cers from the Ca­nine Unit as well as Cen­tral Di­vi­sion Task Force of­fi­cers led by Supt John­ny Abra­ham as­sist­ed in the search.Po­lice said Ra­moutar was last seen clean­ing her yard. She walked across the road to dump garbage but was nev­er seen again. When she failed to re­turn home on Sat­ur­day night, the rel­a­tives lodged a miss­ing per­son re­port at the Bras­so Po­lice Sta­tion.
