Senior citizens honoured at ‘Guaya’ on Valentine’s Day
Senior citizens of Guayaguayare were given to a wonderful treat when the National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (NEC) and the Division of Ageing in the Ministry of the People and Social Development (MOPSD) hosted a Valentine’s Day luncheon last Thursday.
The luncheon was held at the Guayaguayare Community Centre in honour of the elderly who contributed to the community. They were entertained by Daisy George and David Sylvester. The guests were presented with a Valentine’s Day gift bag from the NEC and the MOPSD. Approximately 70 elderly people attended the luncheon.
