Residents of Caparo, friends and relatives of Rosie "Bhougie" Ramoutar, of Chickland Road, Caparo, continue to keep watch for Ramoutar, an 82-year-old grandmother, who was last seen on Saturday afternoon. "Villagers and well-wishers have been walking the forested area day and night, but all to no avail," a close family member said.
A police helicopter has been flying across the thickly forested area but there has been no sign of her or her pet dog, Brownie.Searches have taken relatives and friends to Couva, Todd's Road, Mamoral Crossing and Freeport.
Her children and 90-year-old husband, Ramthaul Ramoutar, continue to be depressed and are praying and hoping for her safe return.A police official said judging from the kind of support they have seen for her, there is no doubt she is a kind and friendly person.
Relatives say there would be no letting up of searches until they find "Bhougie" and return her to her family.
