Stan­dard Dis­trib­u­tors Ltd, a sub­sidiary of the ANSA McAL Group of Com­pa­nies, re­cent­ly an­nounced its top per­form­ers for the third and fourth quar­ters of 2012.The cer­e­mo­ny was held at ANSA McAL's head of­fice in Port-of-Spain, and was of­fi­ci­at­ed by An­nelies Den­ny, chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer, Stan­dard Dis­trib­u­tors Ltd.

Aneal Ma­haraj, ANSA McAL's fi­nance di­rec­tor and chair­man–re­tail sec­tor; Nabeel Hadeed, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor, Stan­dard Dis­trib­u­tors Ltd and Eliz­a­beth Shep­herd, sec­tor HR man­ag­er–re­tail, were on hand to dis­trib­ute the awards in the com­pa­ny's Ini­tia­tives for Ex­cep­tion­al Per­for­mance eleven em­ploy­ees were recog­nised."It has been one year since ANSA McAL ac­quired the Stan­dard Group and since that time the in­te­gra­tion has been quick, seam­less and we have ex­pand­ed the busi­ness," Ma­haraj said.

"To­day, we recog­nise and cel­e­brate the achieve­ment of our peo­ple who ded­i­cate them­selves to serv­ing our cus­tomers in the best way pos­si­ble."Hadeed, who has been at the helm of Stan­dard Dis­trib­u­tors Ltd as the man­ag­ing di­rec­tor for more than 28 years, said: "This is a proud day to present these awards to those who de­liv­er ex­cep­tion­al per­for­mance. The busi­ness is built on qual­i­ty and peo­ple com­mit­ted to do­ing their best to serve. It's more than a sale. It's know­ing that some­where along the way we would have en­riched the lives of our cus­tomers."

Both Hadeed and Ma­haraj praised all in at­ten­dance for their con­tin­ued hard work and ded­i­ca­tion to the com­pa­ny. They were al­so en­cour­aged to con­tin­ue striv­ing for ex­cel­lence and to as­sist their co-work­ers in achiev­ing their lev­els of ex­cel­lence.
