Police are seeking to identify the body of a man found with a gunshot wound to the head in Freeport.According to reports, the discovery was made around noon on Thursday after Freeport police were told a body had been seen at Almond Cove, Carlsen Field.A team led by ASP Paul went to the lonely road where they found the body on the roadside, clad in a black vest, blue three-quarter pants and black slippers.
Police said the man was of East Indian descent, five-foot seven-inches tall, brown in complexion and is believed to be in his 30s.His body bore several tattoos including the image of a spider on the right shoulder, a scorpion on the right arm and a dragon on the chest.Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Freeport Police at 673-0026, or the Southern Homicide Bureau at 652-0495.Cpl Smith of the Freeport police is continuing investigations.
