Po­lice are seek­ing to iden­ti­fy the body of a man found with a gun­shot wound to the head in Freeport.Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, the dis­cov­ery was made around noon on Thurs­day af­ter Freeport po­lice were told a body had been seen at Al­mond Cove, Carlsen Field.A team led by ASP Paul went to the lone­ly road where they found the body on the road­side, clad in a black vest, blue three-quar­ter pants and black slip­pers.

Po­lice said the man was of East In­di­an de­scent, five-foot sev­en-inch­es tall, brown in com­plex­ion and is be­lieved to be in his 30s.His body bore sev­er­al tat­toos in­clud­ing the im­age of a spi­der on the right shoul­der, a scor­pi­on on the right arm and a drag­on on the chest.Po­lice are ask­ing any­one with in­for­ma­tion to con­tact the Freeport Po­lice at 673-0026, or the South­ern Homi­cide Bu­reau at 652-0495.Cpl Smith of the Freeport po­lice is con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.
